4A.   Preparatory Course for the Lead Teacher Institute: Content Overview for
        Designing Dynamic Professional Development

Course Description
 

This is the recommended preparatory course for participants attending a Lead Teacher Institute who have not either taught a Career Choices course or attended a two-day implementation workshop.  While this online course is not mandatory, Lead Teacher candidates will come to the train-the-trainer institute with a depth of knowledge about the Career Choices course material that will facilitate a better understanding of the instructional leadership strategies presented at the Lead Teacher Institute.


Important to note:
  This one unit online course, has the same syllabus as the on-line course work for the 3 unit course
    Career Choices Lead Teacher Institute: Instructional Leadership for an 8th- or 9th-Grade Freshman Transition Course

In the event the learner completes the online course: Preparatory Course for Lead Teacher Institute before their attendance at a Lead Teacher Institute, they then have the option to register for either a two unit course or the thee unit course entitled:
