Participants must complete a minimum of 15 hours of combined workshop time plus practicum (special projects and/or online training modules, depending on the course).
1 unit = 15 hours
2 units = 30 hours
3 units = 45 hours
For instance, if a workshop is five hours in length an additional 10 hours of self-directed study as practicum assignments and/or online training modules has been included.
Evaluation of Follow-up Projects
In each course guide/syllabus a rubric is included that matches the assignments for that particular course. Participant’s assignments will be evaluated by Chapman University’s course grader based on that rubric. Therefore the learner will want to use the rubric to evaluate their own assignments before turning them in, to make sure they are meeting all requirements.
Evaluation/Assessment of Online Training modules:
Each online training module is between 5 minutes and 15 minutes long. At the end of each module, five multiple choices questions are asked. When the learner completes these questions with 100% accuracy, that training module is considered complete and a record of that fact is kept within the online program.
When all online training modules assigned for a specific course are complete, the learner can print out documentation to that fact and this document is to be included in the packet sent to Chapman University for grading. |
