Once finished, you’ll have a thorough understanding of the scope and sequence of the course and you’ll be ready to start your own course planning. Having your own pacing guide ready for the first day of class is critical to success. For details, visit Section 10 of the Instructor’s Guide. Sample pacing guides for courses varying in structure and total hours available can also be found in The Teachers’ Lounge Resource Cupboard.

Sample Pacing guides in EXCEL can easily be edited.

As you work to customize your pacing guide, remember that the Career Choices pages bearing a graduation cap logo have activities that make up the online 10-year Plan. These activities should not be skipped.
